Pyroelectric Catalysis-Based “Nano-Lymphatic” Reduces Tumor Interstitial Pressure for Enhanced Penetration and Hydrodynamic Therapy

چکیده

Because of the deficiency lymphatic reflux in tumor, retention tumor interstitial fluid causes aggravation pressure (TIP), which leads to unsatisfactory penetration nanomedicine. It is main inducement recurrence and metastasis. Herein, we design a pyroelectric catalysis-based Nano-lymphatic decrease TIP for enhanced treatments. realizes photothermal therapy decomposition under NIR-II laser irradiation after reaching reduces penetration. Simultaneously, reactive oxygen species generated during catalysis can further damage deep stem cells. The results indicate that relieves 52% TIP, leading penetration, effectively inhibits proliferation (93.75%) recurrence. Our finding presents rational strategy reduce by improved treatments, great significance drug delivery.

Binding and interstitial penetration of liposomes within avascular tumor spheroids.

The liposomal delivery of cancer therapeutics, including gene therapy vectors, is an area of intense study. Poor penetration of liposomes into interstitial tumor spaces remains a problem, however. In this work, the penetration of different liposomal formulations into prostate carcinoma spheroids was examined. Spheroid penetration was assessed by confocal microscopy of fluorescently labeled lipo...

Pretreatment with VEGF(R)-inhibitors reduces interstitial fluid pressure, increases intraperitoneal chemotherapy drug penetration, and impedes tumor growth in a mouse colorectal carcinomatosis model

Cytoreductive surgery combined with intraperitoneal chemotherapy (IPC) is currently the standard treatment for selected patients with peritoneal carcinomatosis of colorectal cancer. However, especially after incomplete cytoreduction, disease progression is common and this is likely due to limited tissue penetration and efficacy of intraperitoneal cytotoxic drugs. Tumor microenvironment-targetin...

Lymphatic Vessels as Targets of Tumor Therapy?

Recent evidence on the association of lymphangiogenic growth factors with intralymphatic growth and metastasis of cancers (1–4) has raised hopes that lymphatic vessels could be used as an additional target for tumor therapy. Cancer cells spread within the body by direct invasion to surrounding tissues, spreading to body cavities, invasion into the blood vascular system (hematogenous metastasis)...
